Digital Media & The Current and Future Situation of Japanese Economy

On 16th November, the 5th lecture of “IISIA Todai Prep-School” (IISIA Prep-School at the University of Tokyo) was held at Shibuya Hikarie.
“IISIA Todai Prep-School” provides “Information Literacy” education for undergraduate and postgraduate students as a part of social contribution projects.
The topic of the 5th lecture was “Digital Media & The Current and Future Situation of Japanese Economy”.
The topic the students chose following the presentation of open media analytics and reading assignments was “the unification of Tokyo Institute of Technology and Tokyo Medical and Dental University “.
The aims for the movement of this report are:
・ Reinforcement of science and technology as a national strength, and
・ Promoting military research
by developing an interesting discussion predicting the acceleration of military research in Japan.
The assigned book in this lecture is “Is Economic Growth Impossible? – Conditions for overcoming declining birthrates and financial difficulties” written by Kazuo Seiyama, in which the students examined how the Japanese economy will become or eventually proceed to default.
Based on the discussion on digital media, students also commented that they would like to always be aware that they are grasping the social situation “through the media.”
“IISIA Todai Prep-School” opens every Wednesday.
We hope to deliver the information after intellectual discussions at the 6th lecture.
We appreciate your continued support.
