In session 10 of series program“Let‘s talk about Pax Japonica” Miss Nakano and I talked about the topic why Japan is a country with high level of well-being.
Both of us have experience of living abroad for a long time, however rather than living in United kingdom and China we chose to reside in Japan.
In program we shared our reasons of this decision frankly.
The biggest advantages of living in Japan for us are Comfortable living environment and stable prices.
As we all know among developed countries, the United States has one of the highest inflation rates, at 8.5%. This is followed by the eurozone, whose recent inflation reached 7.5%. On the other hand, Japan’s inflation rate is around 1%, one of the lowest in the world.
Although prices in Japan have risen this year, but the rate of increase is not large. Stable and reasonable prices are a major attraction of living in Japan.
Besides the prices, comfortable living is also a charming point of Japan. Convenient public transportation ensure that you can go anywhere easily without a car in big cities like Tokyo. Convenient stores and restaurants of different cuisines can be found everywhere, the streets are clean and well maintained and the pandemic is well under control now.
