Holding an Event for Student

Today (Thursday 22nd), Okinawa Regional Headquarters declared the beginning of rainy season. This declaration is 12 days late compared to the average data and 1 day to the last year. It has begun to get warmer in Tokyo and I daily feel the summer is coming. What do you think of summer? For me, because my birthday is in July and it is always in summer holiday, I used to sigh not to be celebrated by my friends in schools. As such, I used to invite my friends forcefully to my house to hold my birthday party, which makes myself laugh at now.
Meanwhile, yesterday (Wednesday 22nd), we hold an ‘information session for internship’ in Shibuya to put an effort into fostering young generations.
Founder/CEO & Chaiman, Takeo Harada, was on a stage and the students from University of Tokyo, Keio University and Waseda University participated.
More than half of the participants applied for an internship, and after a selection process, the students will visit our office from tomorrow to sign up for an internship.
In 2025, Founder/CEO & Chaiman, Takeo Harada, started the independent seminar from April, as well as ‘UT-ONE’ which is the main module for the first-year students in University of Tokyo from May as a continue of 2024. We are also planning to hold several events June onwards, at the same time, we will continue putting an effort into fostering young generations.
Our Institute is currently working hard to build a mechanism for using the ‘accumulated knowledge’ accumulated so far in the chat system by vectorising the data of research and analysis reports published externally over the past 18 years on a large-scale language model (LLM), storing them as a database, and reading this data using a search extension and generation (RAG) system. The data that should be stored has t2 different types, which are ‘the written text date itself’ and ‘the voice data converted to text by AI’. The former has already finished its work, however, the latter has just begun to work. Although it needs to process the large number of voice data, by storing it in RAG system as text data, this ‘system’ will be able to produce in-detailed outcome.
As such, we have decided to involve the students as an internship into this whole process to work on transcribing the data. Through this internship, the students can learn and experience the knowledge and skills of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the workplace, where its social implementation is taking place.
The voice data for transcriptions are the voice reports about finance and geopolitical risks (the global condition) which have been sold by our Institute, and through proofreading the text data transcribed by AI, it enables to obtain the cutting-edge knowledge and insights (the newest thing that is unable to learn at the university).
At first, the students start to work on transcribing the voice data designated by AI algorithms and its proofreading. Depending on their level of proficiency and skills, they may be given the opportunity to join a team of senior interns working on the coding of AI algorithms themselves, or be entitled to participate in a ‘reading group’ for students to learn more about global affairs, financial knowledge and the history behind it. They will also receive invitations to participate as a member of the Caravan Project (‘Camphor Project’), which uses the Institute’s own ‘system’ to educate its members and others about the social implementation of artificial intelligence, not only in Tokyo, but also in Osaka and other regions of Japan.
This internship classification was explained at the first part of ‘2025 Spring IISIA Seminar’ held in 19th April 2025 by Founder/CEO & Chaiman.
After, it was subsequently decided that the three-tier programme for future internships will be implemented as follows.

An evaluation system (graded by BERT Score) has been introduced to motivate the growing number of interns, with salaries changing according to ability.
We will continue to report on the activities of the students in the future.
Our institute’s social contribution activities are funded by 50% of the profits generated from membership fees for our membership service “Harada Takeo Gemeinschaft.” We provide training and advice for talent that will bring about brilliant innovation, as well as research, development and dissemination of information literacy.
Thanks to the support of our members, we are able to promote our social contribution activities while operating globally. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
We hope for your continued guidance and encouragement.
